    Pappas set a Morehead State record with 481 passing yards and was one shy of the team’s touchdowns record in a 45-38 overtime victory against Dayton, Saturday. He completed 32-of-43 passes and threw for all six MSU touchdowns in the victory. Pappas need only one pass in overtime to put the Eagles ahead for good, connecting with DeVonte Adams for a 25-yard touchdown strike. He completed passes to 11 different receivers and connected on touchdowns with four different receivers. Receiver BJ Byrd was nearly a 200-yard receiver thanks to Pappas, with his 14 receptions going for 191 yards and three touchdowns.

    Hammond’s sack as time expired helped Davidson improve to 2-0 in PFL play with a 35-28 victory at Stetson, Saturday. He finished the game with four tackles, but three of those were behind the line of scrimmage. Hammond had two sacks, including the walk-off sack and a sack on Stetson’s drive to start the fourth quarter that helped force a punt in Davidson territory.

    Kamaka’s strip-scoop-and-score late in the third quarter tied the game and was part of San Diego’s come-from-behind 27-24 PFL victory against St. Thomas, Saturday. Kamaka tackled the St. Thomas quarterback to force the fumble, scooped up the loose ball and returned it 38 yards for a touchdown to level the score at 24-24. He also had six tackles (three solo) in the win.

    Eickert’s 31-yard field goal with four minutes left in the game proved to be the game winner in San Diego’s 27-24 PFL victory against St. Thomas, Saturday. He was 2-of-2 on field goals, also making a 27-yarder) and 3-of-3 on PATs to account for nine of San Diego’s 27 points in the victory.
