Drake claimed a share of its second straight PFL title with a 32-29 victory at Jacksonville, Saturday. In addition, San Diego remained in the hunt for a share of the title with its 17-10 victory at Davidson. Morehead State and Marist ended their 2012 campaigns with victories.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Drake jumped out to an early lead, rallied from a deficit and held on late for a 32-29 PFL victory against Jacksonville, Saturday, at D.B. Milne Field. With the win, Drake claimed a share of the 2012 PFL title, its second consecutive title. The Bulldogs scored the game's first 17 points only to watch Jacksonville respond with the next 22 points, including a safety and an interception return for a touchdown. Drake responded with Gary Scott's touchdown run followed by Michael Piatkowski's touchdown throw to Joey Orlando to take a 32-22 lead. Jacksonville cut the lead to three points on Keith Dawson's touchdown run with 2:35 remaining but it could not gain yardage on its final offensive possesion. Piatkowski led Drake with a 25-of-34 passing outing for 277 yards and two touchdowns while Scott added two touchdown runs. The Dolphins defense led the charge with Daniel Delguidice picking up the safety when he sacked Piatkowski in the end zone and Andre Addison returned the intereption 50 yards for the team's first touchdown.

MARIST def. CAMPBELL, 28-7
BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Marist scored a touchdown in each quarter to post a 28-7 PFL victory against Campbell, Saturday at Barker-Lane Stadium. Marist quarterback Chuckie Looney completed 15-of-21 passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns, including a 57-yard touchdown toss to Joe Tralli that opened the game's scoring. Marist running back Calvin McCoy added 97 yards on the ground, including a 45-yard touchdown run. Campbell quarterback Dakota Wolf scampered for a one-yard touchdown run in the third quarter and finished with 125 total offensive yards.

SAN DIEGO def. DAVIDSON, 17-10
DAVIDSON, N.C. – Joe Ferguson scored from 13 yards out in the fourth quarter to lead San Diego past Davidson, 17-10, in Saturday PFL action at Richardson Stadium. Davidson scored the game's first touchdown on Colby Everett's one-yard run in the first quarter. However, the Toreros responded with the next 10 points, Ferguson scoring from 11-yards out on the second half's opening drive to capture a 10-7 lead. Ferguson's game-winning score came on San Diego's ensuing drive after Davidson tied the game on a Robert Schick 25-yard field goal. Ferguson finished the game with 28 carries for 170 yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Jonathan Carkhuff led Davidson with a 23-of-37, 250-yard passing performance.

MOREHEAD STATE def. VALPARAISO, 76-24
MOREHEAD, Ky. – Morehead State scored 11 touchdowns, including three on defense and special teams, in a 76-24 PFL victory against Valparaiso, Saturday, at Jayne Stadium. The Eagles jumped out to a 34-0 lead in the opening 19 minutes and did not look back. Donte Sawyer had 271 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns – three on pass receptions and a fourth courtesy an 85-yard kickoff return. Valparaiso running back carried the ball 18 times for 107 yards and a touchdown. Morehead State out-gained Valparaiso 696-449.
