CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Drake's Mike Piatkowski, Morehead State's Zach Lewis, San Diego's Mason Mills, of the Pioneer Football League, were each named to the College Football Performance Awards preseason watch list at quarterback, the organization announced Monday.

Piatkowski returns after a 2011 campaign that saw him named the PFL's Offensive Player of the Year. The now fifth-year senior finished the season as the league’s top rated passer, with a 151.40 pass efficiency rating that also was 13th among FCS quarterbacks at regular season’s end. Piatkowski also ranked 21st nationally in total offense, averaging 253.82 yards per game.

Lewis was an honorable mention All-PFL selection in 2011 after completing 234-of-513 passes for 3,585 yard, each of those marks setting a Morehead State program record. The now junior signal caller led the PFL in total offense (313.5) and passing yards (325.9) per game.

Mills led San Diego to the 2011 PFL title as a sophomore and was a second-team All-PFL selection after completing 184-of-298 passes for 2,370 yards and 22 touchdowns.
