Marist jumped out to a 14-0 lead on a pair of Lucas touchdown runs but Campbell scored the game's next 13 points, including a pair of field goals by Mitchell Brown. Both defenses had a hand in their team's next scores, Marist's Zachary Quarles returning an interception four yards for a touchdown and a 20-13 lead followed by Campbell's Brandon Mobley who returned an interception 16 yards for a game-tying touchdown. Lucas finished the contest with 23 carries for 104 yards and three touchdowns to pace Marist. Salmon completed 26-of-56 passes for 336 yards, including a touchdown.
