Leading the week's news from the NFL was highlighted by Marist alumnus and Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers earning selection to his second Pro Bowl this week.

The Pioneer Football League has eight alumni on NFL active rosters in 2022. Five of the PFL's alumni saw action during Week 16 of the NFL campaign:

• Adam Trautman, Tight End, New Orleans Saints (Dayton) | Trautman saw action on 40 offensive snaps in New Orleans' win at Cleveland.
• Ross Dwelley, Tight End, San Francisco 49ers (San Diego) | Dwelley was inactive during San Francisco's win against Washington..
• Jamal Agnew, Wide Receiver, Jacksonville Jaguars (San Diego) | Agnew had one reception for eight yards, a kick return of 25 yards, and a punt return of four yards in Jacksonville's win at the New York Jets.
• Jason Myers, Kicker, Seattle Seahawks (Marist) | Named to his second Pro Bowl earlier in the week, Myers hit a 22-yard field goal and a PAT in Seattle's loss at Kansas City.
• Eric Saubert, Tight End, Denver Broncos (Drake) | Saubert saw action on 22 offensive snaps in Denver's loss at the Los Angeles Rams.
• Michael Bandy, Wide Receiver, Los Angeles Chargers (San Diego) | Bandy was inactive during the Chargers' loss victory against Indianapolis.
• Donald Parham Jr., Tight End, Los Angeles Chargers (Stetson) | Parham had two receptions for eight yards in the Chargers' victory against Indianapolis.
• Josh Johnson, Quarterback, San Francisco 49ers (San Diego) | Johnson did not see action in San Francisco's victory against Washington.
