Eight PFL alumni begin 2022 on NFL rosters

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – With Thursday's NFL season opener on tap, six PFL alumni were on NFL active rosters at the start of the 2022 NFL season with two more listed on practice squad rosters.

Jason Myers (Marist) enters his eighth NFL season and fourth with the Seattle Seahawks. A 2018 Pro Bowl selection, he has made 161 career field goals and converted 84.7 percent of his attempts. That includes a 2020 season that saw him finish 24-of-24 in field goal attempts, including a 61-yard field goal that was the best in the NFL that season.

Jamal Agnew (San Diego) is a multi-purpose threat entering his sixth season in the NFL and second season in Jacksonville. A 2017 First Team All-Pro and member of the 2017 NFL All-Rookie Team while with Detroit, he has made his name as a kick and punt returner. He has four career punt return touchdowns and two career kick return touchdowns to his credit. Agnew also has played wide receiver and defensive back during his NFL career.

Eric Saubert (Drake) begins his sixth NFL season and second season with the Denver Broncos. The tight end has seen action in 57 career games with 18 receptions for 132 yards and a touchdown to his credit.

Ross Dwelley (San Diego) starts his fifth NFL season as a tight end with the San Francisco 49ers. The No. 2 tight end behind George Kittle, he has played 60 games with 40 receptions for 401 yards and four touchdowns during his career.

Donald Parham (Stetson) begins his third season as a tight end with the Los Angeles Chargers. He has played in 27 games the past two seasons with 30 receptions, 349 yards, and six touchdowns.

Adam Trautman (Dayton) enters his third season as a tight end with the New Orleans Saints. In 28 games he has 42 receptions, 434 yards, and three touchdown receptions.

Josh Johnson (San Diego), who made his NFL debut in 2009, returned to the NFL in 2021 after missing the playing the previous two seasons in the Alliance of American Football (2019) and the XFL (2020). He played for both the New York Jets and the Baltimore Ravens last season and picked up a Week 16 start at quarterback for Baltimore against Cincinnati where he threw for 304 yards and two touchdowns. He begins the 2022 season as a member of the Denver Broncos practice squad.

Michael Bandy (San Diego) begins the 2022 season on the Los Angeles Chargers practice squad. He appeared in one game during the 2021 campaign, averaging 22 yards on four kick returns in a Week 15 debut at Houston.
