In a game that went back-and-forth throughout, Morehead State scored the game's final touchdown and made it stick. Morehead State's Brandon Barbee intercepted a pass on Davidson's following drive and the Wildcats final drive ended when the Eagles Aaron Turk broke up a pass as time expired to seal the win.

Morehead State's Lawson Page completed 16-of-29 passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns. He was one of three runners to also score a touchdown, joining Smith and Chris Nelson.

James Story had two touchdowns as part of a seven-carry, 61-yard outing to pace Davidson. Tyler Phelps completed 7-of-20 passes for 104 yards and a touchdown.

MARIST 20, JACKSONVILLE 17
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Marist scored twice in the fourth quarter to stun Jacksonville, 20-17, in Saturday PFL action at D.B. Milne Field.

Trailing 17-7 entering the fourth, Marist got a fortunate bounce to change the game's momentum. Wide receiver Ethan Carpenter recovered a fumble in the end zone to cap a massive 17-play, 71-yard drive that moved the Red Foxes within four points, 17-13. On the next Marist drive, quarterback Austin Day led a nine-play, 73-yard drive that he capped with a 13-yard touchdown pass to Jon Kanda to give Marist its first lead of the game, 20-17.

Jacksonville, which took a 17-13 lead late in the third quarter on a Javier Arce-Ramierz 48-yard field goal, saw its final three drives conclude twice on a turnover on downs and another via an interception. The outcome spoiled a day that saw Dolphins quarterback Calvin Turner Jr. rush for 167 yards on 23 carries.

Marist's Austin Day completed 12-of-15 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns. Darryn Jordan rushed for a touchdown as part of a 21-carry, 124-yard outing.

VALPARAISO 35, BUTLER 17
VALPARAISO, Ind. – Brady Gessinger's 97-yard return of the second half's opening kickoff broke a halftime tie and sparked Valparaiso to a 35-17 PFL victory against Butler, Saturday, at Brown Field.

Valparaiso scored twice in the first quarter to race out to a 14-0 lead only to see Butler respond with two second quarter scores to level the game. However, Gessinger turned the tide with his kickoff return and Butler only mustered a 39-yard field goal by Drew Bevelhimer on its ensuing possesioni. Valparaiso would seal the win with a pair of touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

Cody Boxrucker scored three touchdowns on the ground for Valparaiso, finishing with 40 yards on 10 carries. Jimmy Seewald completed 11-of-16 passes for 117 yards and a touchdown.

STETSON 23, DRAKE 21
DES MOINES, Iowa – Steven Burdette scooped up a fumble and ran eight yards for a touchdown as time expired and Stetson stunned Drake, 23-21, in Saturday PFL action at Drake Stadium.

The game featured a pair of wild shifts in the final minute, which began with Stetson leading 17-14 with 45 seconds left and Drake starting at a drive at its own 24-yard line. The Bulldogs Grant Kraemer needed just one play to give Drake the lead when he found Devin Cates for a 76-yard touchdown for a 21-17 lead.

However, following the touchdown Drake was called for an unsportsmanlike penalty which was enforced on the ensuing kickoff and would prove pivotal. The ensuing kickoff would get to the Stetson 14-yard line and was returned 21 yards by JJ Henderson to setup Steton at its own 35-yard line with 39 seconds left. Stetson's Colin McGovern would complete passes of 13, 20 and 17 yards to get the ball to the Drake 15-yard line.

On what turned out to be the final play, McGovern was flushed from the pocket by a Drake pass rush that had been relentless all day. McGovern moved to his left to avoid the rush and connected again with Jack Bowen. At the eight-yard line, with three Drake defenders about to bring Bowen down to end the game, he did the only thing he could think of to keep the Hatters’ chances alive – he dropped the ball. Burdette, who was on his way to try to help Bowen reach the end zone, saw the ball rolling on the ground, scooped and scored as the clock hit zero.

McGovern completed 29-of-44 passes for 271 yards and three touchdowns, finding Donald Parham 12 times for 112 yards and a score.

Kraemer completed 19-of-36 passes for 277 yards and had two touchdown throws.

San Diego built a 23-14 halftime lead by scoring the half's final 17 points. Cooper Hagmaier hauled in an Anthony Lawrence pass for a 33-yard score. On the next San Diego drive, it was forced to punt but the return was muffed and USD recovered at the Dayton two-yard line where Emilo Martinez dashed into the end zone to give San Diego the lead. Aedan Johnson would connect on a 21-yard field goal to set the halftime margin.

Dayton would score the third quarter's only points to close the gap to two points but San Diego scored on consecutive possessions to start the fourth to build a 36-21 lead. Dayton would get back within a touchdown when Jack Cook found Ryan Skibinski for a 32-yard touchdown. Cook would then lead Dayton on a six-play, 94-yard drive that he capped with a four-yard touchdown strike to Adam Trautman, but the ensuing two-point conversion pass was broken up.
