DAYTON’S CHAMBERLIN NOTCHES 50TH PFL WIN | Dayton head coach Rick Chamberlin became only the second PFL coach to record 50 league wins, reaching the milestone in Week 6 against Morehead State. He joins former Dayton head coach and College Football Hall of Fame member Mike Kelley, who amassed a 55-16 career PFL record in 15 seasons, as the only PFL coaches to record 50 league wins.

GAHAFER BLOWS PAST 10K | Morehead State quarterback Austin Gahafer blasted past 10,000 career passing yards with a 418-yard performance against Dayton in Week 6 that is the 15th best passing yardage total in the FCS this season. The FCS active career leader with 10,203 passing yards, he became the sixth PFL quarterback to reach the 10,000-yard milestone.

WILL ENOUGH TO REACH 50? | Dayton kicker William Will tied the PFL record for career field goals, kicking his 49th career field goal in a Week 6 win against Morehead State. He tied the record held by Drake’s Billy Cundiff (1998-01) and now sets his eyes on becoming the first PFL kicker to record 50 field goals in a career. He currently ranks third on the FCS active career leader’s list.

CRUSADERS CONVERTING ON FOURTH | Valparaiso converted on fourth down five times against Drake in Week 6, tying the FCS single-game high this season. The Crusaders have converted on 8-of-12 fourth-down tries in 2016, those eight conversions ranking seventh in the FCS while its 66.7 percent conversion rate is 23rd best.

TOREROS PROTECT THEIR OWN | Keeping true to their mascot, San Diego has not allowed opposing teams to get to their quarterback, permitting just one sack in its first five games this season, ranking second in fewest sacks allowed among FCS teams. Only Southern Conference member The Citadel has done better, not allowing a single sack in five games.

SAUBERT AMONG LEADING FCS TIGHT ENDS | Drake’s Eric Saubert is making a name for himself as one of the FCS’ top tight end receivers in 2016. He is ranked in the top three among all FCS tight ends in receptions per game (2nd, 6.7) and ranks third in receiving yards per game (3rd, 85.6) with 40 receptions for 465 yards and five touchdowns.

HODGES AMONG ALL-PURPOSE LEADERS | San Diego’s Jonah Hodges is the nation’s No. 3 all-purpose runner entering Week 7, averaging 188.60 all-purpose yards per game. While he is averaging 113.8 rushing yards per game (15th in the FCS by itself), he has tacked on 51.8 receiving yards and 23.0 kickoff return yards per game. Hodges is averaging 9.2 yards per touch on his 103 plays in 2016.
