LEAGUE NOTES

Dayton took control of the PFL Championship race in Week 5 with its one-point win against San Diego… The Flyers seek to remain unbeaten in PFL play and improve to 6-0 overall (its first 6-0 start since 2005) with a trip to Valparaiso… Jacksonville also remained unbeaten in PFL play and overall, improving to 5-0 for the first time in program history… The Dolphins step out of PFL play for a nonconference tilt against intra-city foe Edward Waters, seeking to improve to 6-0… Drake travels to San Diego in a meeting between 2-1 squads seeking to stay at one loss with six weeks remaining in the regular season… Davidson snapped a 15-game overall losing streak in Week 6 and now turns its eyes to ending its 19-game PFL losing streak against a Butler squad that fell on the road last week… Campbell heads south to face Stetson to continue a series that has seen the road team win each of the first two contests… PFL defenses have racked up a FCS-leading 78 interceptions this season with the top three spots on the FCS interceptions list held by PFL defenders… Jacksonville made big moves in both FCS polls this week, breaking into double-digit vote totals in both the STATS FCS Poll and the FCS Coaches Poll.
