JACKSONVILLE defeated BUTLER, 35-7
INDIANAPOLIS – Quarterback Kade Bell threw five touchdown passes to lead Jacksonville past Butler, 35-7, in Saturday Pioneer Football League action at the Butler Bowl. Bell led Jacksonville to touchdowns on three consecutive drives in the first half as the Dolphins sprinted out to a 21-0 lead. The Jacksonville lead reached 28-0 in the third quarter before Butler found paydirt when quarterback Matt Shiltz found Marquese Martin-Hayes from 42 yards out. The Bulldogs would not get any closer and Jacksonville added a 90-yard touchdown completion in the fourth quarter to set the final score. Bell completed 25-of-40 passes for 401 yards with touchdown throws of 20, 44, 9, 5 and 90 yards. Shiltz completed 22-of-44 yards for 296 yards and a touchdown.

SAN DIEGO defeated MARIST, 20-16
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – With five seconds remaining in the contest, San Diego quarterback Keith Williams found Reggie Bell for a 36-yard touchdown to escaped Marist with a 20-16 Pioneer Football League win, Saturday, at Tenney Stadium. Marist jumped out to a 13-0 lead courtesy an Anthony Francis touchdown pass and a 34-yard fumble recover for touchdown by Demetrius Williams. San Diego rallied for the game's next 13 points, tying the score on David Last's 20-yard field goal at the 14:13 mark of the fourth quarter. Marist responded with a field goal on its ensuing drive and held San Diego to a three-and-out to maintain a 16-13 lead. The Red Foxes then attempted to run out the clock with a 12-play, 44-yard drive down to the San Diego 29, but turned the ball over on downs. Williams orchestrated a 8-play, 71-yard drive to score the go-ahead touchdown. Williams completed 18-of-27 passes for 227 yards and the touchdown. Fancis completed 11-of-23 passes for 131 yards in the losing effort.

CAMPBELL defeated VALPARAISO, 34-24
BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell scored the final 10 points to secure a 34-24 Pioneer Football League victory against Valparaiso, Saturday, in a wild affair at Barker-Lane Stadium. The game featured six lead changes, including five in a third quarter that saw the teams combine for 31 points. Campbell struck last in that wild third quarter, when quarterback Dakota Wolf struck for a seven-yard touchdown run. The Camels added an insurance scored in the fourth quarter when running back Akile Jones scampered for a 23-yard touchdown run. Wolf completed 9-of-15 passes for 108 yards and added nine carries for 58 yards, finishing with both a passing and rushing touchdown. Valparaiso quarterback Ben Lehman completed 20-of-37 passes for 337 yards and two touchdowns.

Princeton defeated DAVIDSON, 56-17
PRINCETON, N.J. – Princeton scored on the opening kickoff and did not look back in a 56-17 nonconference win against Davidson, Saturday, at Princeton Stadium. Dre Nelson returned the opening kickoff 89 yards for the touchdown sparking Princeton which led 39-10 at halftime behind three touchdown runs by quarterback Quinn Epperly. Epperly would finish the game with four touchdown runs on 16 carries totalling 118 yards. Davidson quarterback J.P. Douglas completed 29-of-44 passes for 260 yards, including a third quarter touchdown pass to William Morris that briefly trimmed the deficit to 39-17.
