In Thursday Pioneer Football League action, Campbell led Charleston Southern through one half but could not hold on in a road loss.

Charleston Southern defeated CAMPBELL, 34-10
CHARLESTON, S.C. – Campbell held a 10-7 halftime lead, but could not hold off Charleston Southern in a 34-10 loss, Thursday night, at Buccaneer Field. Campbell led 10-7 at halftime thanks to a touchdown pass from Austin Brown to Jabri Ridenhour in the first quarter and a 44-yard Mitchell Brown field goal late in the second quarter. Charleston Southern regained the lead on its first possession of the second half and rattled off 27 unanswered points to post the win. Keith Goss led Campbell with 43 yards rushing on eight carries and 21 yards receiving on three catches. DeShawn Jones rushed seven times for 29 yards while Ridenhour caught four passes for 64 yards, including the touchdown. Ugonna Awuruonye led the Camels defense with nine tackles.
