OFFENSE
Kevin Hoyng, Dayton

In his first career start, Hoyng complete 12 of 19 passes for 271 yards and one touchdown. He also was the Flyers� leading rusher with seven carries for 57 yards, including a one-yard run for the game�s first touchdown. He led the league with 328 yards total offense, averaging 12.6 offensive yards per play, leading Dayton to a 38-0 victory over Division II Tiffin.

DEFENSE
Vincent Hinkle, Morehead State
Senior, Linebacker

Hinkle was credited with 14 total tackles (four solo), including two tackles for loss and a quarterback sack. He also added a pass breakup in Morehead State�s 26-25 come-from-behind win at I-AA foe Saint Francis (Pa.).

SPECIAL TEAMS
Hutch Parker, San Diego

Parker converted 3-of-4 field goal attempts with field goals from 38, 29 and 22 yards � his lone miss came from 32 yards out � to help San Diego to a home-opening 30-6 victory against NAIA opponent Azusa Pacific. He also added 3 PATs for a team-best 12 points, which also was second among all PFL scorers in week one and tops among kickers. His three field goals were half his total from 2004, where he connected on 6-of-8 attempts.
