LAST WEEKS RESULTS
Week 4 Saturday, Sept. 24

Dayton def. Jacksonville, 49-17
Morehead State def. Butler, 58-10
Drake def. Davidson, 58-17
Austin Peay def. Valparaiso, 30-20
San Diego def. Menlo, 56-0

PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
OFFENSE

Connor Jostes, Drake
Senior, Quarterback
Iowa City, Iowa (City HS)
Jostes completed 20-of-27 passes for 254 yards and four touchdowns as Drake rolled to a 58-17 interdivisional victory against Davidson. It is just the second time this season a PFL quarterback has thrown for four touchdowns in a contest, Jostes completing the task in just three quarters of action. It also is only the 12th time this season in I-AA a quarterback has thrown for four or more touchdowns in a single-game.

DEFENSE
John Hoppe, Dayton
Senior, Linebacker
Northbrook, Ill. (Glenbrook North HS)
Hoppe recorded nine tackles, including two solo and one for loss. But his biggest contribution to Daytons, 49-17, interdivisional victory against Jacksonville may have been his two interceptions. His 47-yard interception return for a touchdown early in the third quarter gave the Flyers a lead from which they would not look back.

SPECIAL TEAMS
Nick Feldman, Morehead State
Freshman, Return Specialist
Oconto, Wisc. (Oconto HS)
Feldman returned eight punts for 181 yards, averaging 22.6 yards per return, in Morehead States, 58-10, interdivisional victory at Butler. However, his 53-yard punt return for a touchdown to start the second quarter would prove to be the game-winner, giving the Eagles a 17-0 lead from which they would not look back. His week five effort moved him atop the PFLs punt return list, where he leads the conference with 18.3 yards per return.
