PFL Alumni in the NFL: Week 18

With the conclusion of the NFL's regular season, six PFL alumni will participate in the NFL postseason: Ross Dwelley and Josh Johnson of the NFC No. 2 seed San Francisco 49ers; Michael Bandy and Donald Parham Jr. with the AFC No. 5 seed Los Angeles Chargers; Jason Myers with the NFC No. 7 seed Seattle Seahawks; and Jamal Agnew with the AFC No. 4 seed Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Pioneer Football League saw eight alumni on NFL active rosters during the 2022 season. Here is a quick recap of their regular-season performances:

  • Adam Trautman, Tight End, New Orleans Saints (Dayton) | Trautman finished the 2022 season with 18 receptions for 207 yards and a touchdown in his third season with New Orleans.
  • Ross Dwelley, Tight End, San Francisco 49ers (San Diego) | Dwelley played in 12 games during the regular season – his fifth season with the 49ers – and has three receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown.
  • Jamal Agnew, Wide Receiver, Jacksonville Jaguars (San Diego) | Agnew wrapped up the regular season with 205 punt reutrn yards, 547 kick return yards, 187 receiving yards, and 86 rushing yards – a total of 1,025 all-purpose yards. his 752 kick and punt return yards ranked 10th in the NFL.
  • Jason Myers, Kicker, Seattle Seahawks (Marist) | The 2022 Pro Bowl selection finished the regular season making 34-of-37 field goals, including all six attempts from 50-plus yards. His 34 field goals made trailed only Baltimore's Justin Tucker (37 field goals made) and his 91.9 field goal percentage was fifth-best in the NFL.
  • Eric Saubert, Tight End, Denver Broncos (Drake) | Saubert played in all 17 games for the second consecutive season with Denver and set career highs in receptions (15) and receiving yards (148).
  • Michael Bandy, Wide Receiver, Los Angeles Chargers (San Diego) | Bandy played in 10 games and had 10 receptions for 89 yards for the Chargers.
  • Donald Parham Jr., Tight End, Los Angeles Chargers (Stetson) | Parham battled through an injury-plagued season to play six games and finish with 10 receptions for 130 yards and a touchdown.
  • Josh Johnson, Quarterback, San Francisco 49ers (San Diego) | Returning to action for his eighth NFL season, Johnson played two games with the 49ers during the regular season.
