CEDAR CITY, Utah - Cade Sexauer threw for 207 yards and a touchdown but a four-turnover night proved too much for St. Thomas to overcome and it dropped a 44-13 decision to Southern Utah, Saturday. St. Thomas scored on the game's opening drive, running back Hope Adebayo broke off a 60-yard dash on the game's first play from scrimmage and Shawn Shipman scored on a 15-yard run to put St. Thomas ahead 7-0. Southern Utah responded by scoring the game's next 26 points before Sexauer found Joshua Komis for a nine-yard touchdown pass to close back within 26-13, but the Tommies would not score again in the game. St. Thomas outgained Southern Utah on the ground, 180-117, and were narrowly outgained overall, 489-462.
