Dayton 38, Butler 31
DAYTON, Ohio – Zach Rumpke intercepted a pass a pass with 27 seconds remaining to help Dayton hold on for a 38-31 PFL victory against Butler, Saturday. Dayton raced out to a 24-7 halftime lead thanks to a 17-point second quarter that included a Jake Chisholm rushing touchdown and a Jack Cook touchdown toss to Joey Swanson. Butler and Dayton traded touchdowns in the third quarter with Bret Bushka closing the quarter's scoring with a 75-yard touchdown pass to Yogi Flager to narrow the deficit to 38-24. Bushka would narrow the deficit to one score with his one-yard touchdown run with 2:06 remaining. After an onside kick was recovered by Dayton, the Butler defense forced a three-an-out. But Rumpke intercepted a Bushka pass near midfield to seal the victory. Chisholm ran 24 times for 157 yards and three touchdowns and caught two passes for 55 yards and another touchdown. Bushka completed 29-of-48 passes for a touchdown and 392 yards then tacked on 58 yards and two touchdown on 13 carries.

Stetson 56, Presbyterian 14
CLINTON, S.C. – Stetson scored the game's first 42 points en route to a 56-14 PFL victory against Presbyterian, Saturday. Stetson quarterback Alex Piccirilli ran for a touchdown and passed for three more as part of the opening outburst that concluded with 6:57 left in the third quarter. Presbyterian quarterback Ren Hefley's 39-yard touchdown pass to Jalen Jones would get Presbyterian on the board. However, Presbyterian answered on its next drive to return the lead back to 42 points. Piccirilli threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns on 20-of-32 passing and had 37 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Hefley completed 25-of-40 passes for 197 yards and a touchdown. 

St. Thomas 27, Marist 7
SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Cade Sexauer threw for two touchdowns and Hope Adebayo ran for two more as St Thomas downed Marist, 21-7, in Saturday PFL action. St. Thomas jumped out to a 13-0 first quarter lead as Sexauer completed a 51-yard pass to Max Zimmerman for teh game's first touchdown and Adebayo scored on a 30-yard run. Marist would halve the deficit in the second quarter with Austin Day's two-yard run, but the Red Foxes would not find the end zone again. Adebayo ran for 191 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries to pace St. Thomas. Day completed 9-of-16 passes for 101 yards to pace Marist.

Davidson 29, Morehead State 22
MOREHEAD, Ky. – Davidson sits alone atop the PFL standings with three weeks remaining following its 29-22 victory at Morehead State, Saturday. Morehead State took the early 6-0 lead but would be left wondering what could have been after two first-half drives resulted in field goals despite the drives starting deep in Davidson territory. A muffed punt early in the game set Morehead State up at the Davidson 1-yard line but they could not find the end zone and settled for a 20-yard Andrew Foster field goal. Later in the frame, Morehead State recovered a fumble at the Davidson 30-yard line, but again could not gain a first down and settled for a 49-yard Foster field goal. Davidson took the lead for good on Caden Bonofski's 35-yard field goal with 50 seconds left in the third quarter and extended the lead with touchdown runs by Coy Williams and Dylan Sparks. Morehead State would close the deficit with Mark Pappas' touchdown throw to Earl Stoudemire with 3:03 left in the game, but MSU could not recover the ensuing on-side kick and Davidson ran out the clock. Sparks ran for 122 yards and two touchdowns to pace a Davidson run game that finished with 397 yards and three touchdowns. Pappas paced Morehead State with his 24-of-44 passing outing that amassed 262 yards and two touchdowns.

San Diego 21, Valparaiso 14
SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Mason Randall dashed into the end zone from 15 yards out with 1:15 remaining, leading San Diego to a come-from-behind 21-14 PFL victory against Valparaiso, Saturday. Valparaiso took an early 14-0 lead on back-to-back possessions in the first quarter. Valparaiso scored first when Robert Washington dashed into the end zone for a 29-yard touchdown run. On the ensuing San Diego drive, J. Jackson intercepted a pass and returned it 83 yards for a touchdown with 6:39 remaining in the first quarter. However, those would be Valparaiso's final points of the game. Randall opened the second quarter with a touchdown pass to Emilio Martinez and Brandon Eickert added field goals from 31 and 33 yards to cut the deficit to 14-13 at halftime. Neither team would score again until Randall's game-winning run. Randall completed 24-of-38 passes for 265 yards with a touchdown both running and passing. The San Diego defense held Valparaiso 57 offensive yards, including only two passing yards, and four first downs and did not allow a drive to last more than five plays. Will Buck led that defensive effort with six tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and three sacks.
