CLINTON, S.C. – Tyler Huff led scoring drives on each side of the third quarter break to help Presbyterian down Davidson, 29-24, Saturday at Bailey Memorial Stadium. After Davdison took a 17-14 lead midway through the third quarter, Huff capped a quick 3-play, 49-yard drive with a 27-yard pass to Keith Pearson for a 20-17 lead. Davidson scored on its next drive but Presbyterian answered with a field goal to force a touchdown drive. Davidson advanced deep into Presbyterian territory thanks to a pair of pass interference penalties, but the Presbyterian defense ended the threat with an interception inside its own 10-yard line to seal the victory. Huff completed 21-of-25 passes for 198 yards and two touchdowns for Presbyterian. Phelps rushed for 115 yards to lead Davidson's offense.

Those scores went to three different receivers with a 32-yard toss to Colin Howard, a six-yard pass to Caden Meis and a five-yard shot to Brandon Langdok. Meanwhile, the Drake defense blocked a punt for a safety and the free kick afterwards set up the Corwin-to-Langdok score to close the first half. Morehead State 28, Valparaiso 24
MOREHEAD, Ky. – Brandon Barbee intercepted a pass with 1:10 remaining to help Morehead State seal a 28-24 victory against Valparaiso, Saturday at Jayne Stadium. Valparaiso opened the second half with a 9-play, 75-yard drive and Gabe Lawson punched into the end zone from three yards out to tie the game. It took until midway through the fourth quarter for the tie to be broken, Morehead State piecing together a 7-play, 47-yard drive with Mark Pappas finding BJ Byrd for the go-ahead touchdown.
