DAYTON 42, #14 INDIANA STATE 35
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Sean Prophit's 13-yard touchdown run with 1:57 remaining provided the winning score in Dayton's 42-35 upset victory of #14 Indiana State, Saturday, at Memorial Stadium. After Prophit's run put the Flyers ahead, Indiana State drove deep into Dayton territory on its ensuing drive but Dayton's Zach Rumpe intercepted a pass at the eight-yard line to secure the victory. Prophit and quarterback Jack Cook each ran for two touchdowns in the win, Cook also throwing a pair of touchdown passes as part of a 21-for-29, 251-yard outing.

GEORGETOWN 43, MARIST 3
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Marist could not overcome a four-turnover day in a 43-3 loss to Georgetown, Saturday, at Cooper Field.  Marist got on the board courtesy Luke Paladino's 36-yard field goal with 8:51 left in the second quarter. However, Georgetown responded with a touchdown on its ensuing drive then forced turnovers on Marist's final two possessions of the first half, scoring a touchdown to extend its lead to 22-3 at the half and never looked back. Quarterback Austin Day completed 12-of-19 passes for 149 yards to pace the Marist offense.

#4 UC DAVIS 38, SAN DIEGO 35
SAN DIEGO, Calif. – San Diego saw a potential game-winning drive thwarted by a fumble at the one-yard line as time expired and UC Davis escaped with a 38-35 victory, Saturday, at Torero Stadium. After holding the Aggies to a field goal to start the fourth quarter, San Diego took its only lead of the contest on the game's next drive as Reid Sinnett found Dalton Kincaid for a 10-yard touchdown pass completion for a 35-31 lead. UC Davis responded with a 14-play, 81-yard scoring drive to retake the lead with 3:35 left. San Diego would drive the length of the field on its final possession, covering 91 yards in 14 plays, but UC Davis would force a fumble at the one-yard line and recover it in the end zone to end the game. Sinnett completed 23-of-33 passes for 239 yards and two touchdowns while Emilio Martinez ran for 115 yards and a touchdown to lead San Diego.

BUTLER 30, INDIANA WESLEYAN 27
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Stephen Davis' four-yard touchdown run in overtime helped Butler prevail with a 30-27 overtime victory against Indiana Wesleyan, Saturday, at the Sellick Bowl. Trailing 17-10 at halftime, Butler scored the second half's first 14 points to take a 24-17 lead with 7:16 remaining in regulation. Indiana Wesleyan would tie the game courtesy a 16-play, 75-yard drive that ended with a touchdown as time expired to force overtime. The Wildcats would only score a field goal in the first possession of overtime with Butler walking off a winner after Davis' touchdown burst. Sam Brown led Butler with a 29-for-36, 251-yard passing effort that included two touchdown throws. Running back Brad Sznajder scored once as part of a 114-yard rushing outing.

DAVIDSON 45, VIRGINIA LYNCHBURG 7
DAVIDSON, N.C. – Seven different Davidson players scored in a 45-7 rout of Virginia Lynchburg, Saturday, at Richardson Stadium. William Wicks and Jaden Pask each had interception returns for touchdowns in the victory as Davidson needed just 339 yards offense to post the win. The Wildcats defense held Virginia Lynchburg to minus-17 yards rushing and 167 passing yards.

STETSON 45, LOUISIANA COLLEGE 13
DeLAND, Fla. – Gaven DeFilippo tossed two touchdowns and ran for another and the Stetson defense forced four turnovers in a 58-13 victory against Louisiana College, Saturday, at Spec Martin Memorial Stadium. Jareem Westcott opened the scoring with a four-yard touchdown run and a 17-yard touchdown reception from DeFilippo in the first quarter as Stetson opened up a 14-0 lead. The Hatters then scored 17 points in the second quarter and 21 in the third frame to break the game open. DeFilippo completed 11-of-22 passes for 179 yards and two touchdowns and added 36 rushing yards and a score.

TRUMAN STATE 10, DRAKE 7
DES MOINES, Iowa – Ian Conner found Drew Lauer for a 10-yard touchdown completion but it wasn't enough as Drake fell to Truman State, 10-7, Saturday at Drake Stadium. In a defensively-dominated game, Drake outgained Truman State by a 240-181 margin but was unable to translate the yardage into points. Truman State scored the game's first points on a 46-yard field goal in the second quarter and then ran the second-half opening kickoff back 97 yards for a touchdown to take a 10-0 lead. Corwin completed 16-of-34 passes for 205 yards and a touchdown, finding seven different receivers on the day.

ILLINOIS STATE 42, MOREHEAD STATE 14
NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State scored the game's first 35 points – all in the first half – and Morehead State could not recover, falling 42-14, Saturday at Hancock Stadium. Eagles quarterback Mark Pappas led a quick six-play, 41-yard drive to breakup the shutout bid when he found Jacob Peters for a three-yard touchdown score. Pappas would add a 16-yard touchdown pass to Geremiah Edison in the fourth to set the game's final score. Pappas completed 13-of-27 passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns to pace Morehead State.
