Columbia 41, Marist 17
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Columbia scored 38 first-half points and improved to 4-0 this season with a 41-17 nonconference victory against Marist, Saturday, at Tenney Stadium. Lions quarterback Anders Hill threw for three touchdowns and ran for two more – all in the first half – in the win, completing 25-of-33 passes for 350 yards and added 26 yards on the ground. Marist broke through to start the third quarter when running back Marcellus Calhoun threw a two-yard pass to Jon Kanda, cutting the deficit to 38-7. Meanwhile, Red Foxes quarterback Mike White finished with 131 total offensive yards. 

Jacksonville 35, Davidson 21
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Rylan Wells passed for three touchdowns and ran for two mroe as Jacksonville pulled away early then held on late for a 35-21 PFL victory against Davidson, Saturday, at D.B. Milne Field. Wells, who threw for 249 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 99 yards and three scores, scampered in from the 45 in the first quarter. He hit Michon Sobers on a 19-yard scoring strike and ran in from the 1 and from the 38 for two more scores to put the Dolphins ahead 28-0 at the break. Davidson scored the game's final 21 points with Wesley Dugger and Keylan Brown each running for scores and Tyler Phelps passing for another, but the Wildcats could not overcome the early deficit. 

Stetson 17, Brown 13
DELAND, Fla. – Colin McGovern ran for two touchdowns and lead Stetson to its season's first victory against Brown, 17-13, in nonconference action at Spec Martin Stadium. The Hatters scored their first 10 points after picking off Bears passes, Jonny Messina connecting on a 32-yard field goal in the first quarter and McGovern running for a eight-yard score in the third quarter that proved to be the winning score. McGovern had a field day against Brown, completing 23-of-36 passes for 269 yards and adding 28 rushing yards.

Butler 44, Morehead State 6
MOREHEAD, Ky. – Butler scored six touchdowns on the ground and rolled past Morehead State, 44-6, in PFL action at Jayne Stadium, Saturday. The Bulldogs finished with 253 rushing yards and Duvante Lane accounted for 99 yards of that total and scored three touchdowns. Anthony Scaccia added two touchdown runs and quarterback Sam Schrader added another rushing score. Morehead State broke up the shutout bid with 9:36 left in the game when Lawson Page scored on a six-yard run.

Dayton 20, Drake 10
DES MOINES, Iowa – Dayton's defense forced five turnovers, including four interceptions, helping the Flyers post a 20-10 PFL victory against Drake, Saturday, at Drake Stadium. Dayton quarterback Alex Jeske returned from an injury and ran for a touchdown and passed for another in a pivotal third quarter that saw the Flyers take a 17-3 lead. He completed 12-of-22 passes for 197 yards in his return. Meanwhile, Tim Simon intercepted two Drake passes while Nick Surges and Andrew Lutgens each picked off a pass.

Campbell 49, Valparaiso 10
BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Daniel Smith passed for four touchdowns and Campbell scored 49 unanswered points in a 49-10 PFL victory against Valparaiso, Saturday, at Barker-Lane Stadium. Valparaiso scored on the game's opening drive when Cody Boxrucker dove into the end zone from two yards out. But Campbell scored 28 points in the first quarter with Montel Goods rushing for a score, Zach Roderick returning a fumble for a defensive score and Smith passing for two touchdowns as they took control and never looked back.
