Jacksonville, Butler and Drake each got to 2-0 in PFL play with Week 5 victories. The Dolphins won their FCS-best 16th consecutive home game at D.B. Milne Field thanks to a 99-yard kickoff return. Butler won at the Butler Bowl thanks to Trae Heeter's 159-yard rushing performance. Drake picked up a win at Campbell to keep pace. Elsewhere, Davidson fell to Presbyterian in non-conference action.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Colby Walden returned a kickoff 99 yards for a go-ahead touchdown as Jacksonville extended the FCS' longest home win streak with qa 26-14 PFL victory against Marist, Saturday, at D.B. Milne Field. The Dolphins, which won their their 16th consecutive home game, once again struck for their game-winning score on the ensuing kickoff after falling behind. Marist had just capped a nine-play, 75-yard drive with Onakoya's two-yard touchdown run with 12:13 remaining before Walden struck for the go-ahead score. Jacksonville quarterback Kade Bell completed 21-of-28 passes – with completions to eight difference receivers – for 210 yards and a touchdown. Marist only mustered 187 offensive yards.

BUTLER def. DAYTON, 21-11
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Butler used a trio of big plays to post a 21-11 PFL victory against Dayton, Saturday, at the Butler Bowl. Two of the big plays came courtesy Bulldogs running back Trae Heeter, who had touchdown runs of 41 and 78 yards as part of a 23-carry, 159-yard performance. His 41-yard run in the third quarter put Butler ahead for good and his 78-yard run was the game's final score. Dayton closed within three points on a Robert Washington 13-yard touchdown run, but could not get any closer. The Flyers outgained the Bulldogs, 387-337, but could not translate the advantage onto the scoreboard. Dayton quarterback Will Bardo completed 25-of-47 passes for 255 yards.

DRAKE def. CAMPBELL, 35-7
BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Drake scored the game's first 21 points and did not look back in a 35-7 PFL victory against Campbell, Saturday, at Barker-Lane Stadium. Drake opened the game with a Gary Scott rushing touchdown, a Michael Piatkowski pass to Nick Rosa for a touchdown and Derek Temple's interception return for a touchdown to jump out to the 21-0 first-half lead. Campbell quarterback Dakota Wolf threw his first career touchdown pass – a 57-yard strike to A.J. Artis – to start the third quarter but the Fighting Camels could not find the end zone again. Piatkowski completed 23-of-38 passes for 258 yards and later added a rushing touchdown to lead Drake's 481-yard offensive performance. Wolf completed 13-of-27 passes for 169 yards and ran for another 41 yards on 17 carries to pace Campbell's 226-yard outing.

PRESBYTERIAN def. DAVIDSON, 28-13
DAVIDSON, N.C. – Presbyterian scored the game's final 21 points and posted a 28-13 non-conference victory against Davidson, Saturday, at Richardson Stadium. Davidson scored touchdowns on both sides of the halftime break to build a 13-7 lead. Wildcats quarterback Jonathan Carkhuff threw both of the touchdowns, the first a 36-yard strike to Chris Trinetti at the end of the first half and the second a 32-yard pass to Lanny Funsten to start the third quarter. Presbyterian finished the game with a slight 368-360 edge in offensive yardage with Carkhuff providing 280 of the Davidson yardage total on a 21-of-34 passing performance. Spencer Perry added a 20-carry, 123-yard rushing performance for the Wildcats.
