CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Jacksonville's Colby Walden and San Diego's Kenny James were each named to the College Football Performance Awards Preseason Watch list for kickoff returners and all-purpose runners, Monday.

James, a junior at San Diego, was a first-team All-PFL selection at return specialist last season. Besides leading the league in rushing (104.5 ypg) last season he was second among league returners in kick-return average (24.4 ypr) and led the PFL with 210.1 all-purpose yards per game. 

Walden,  a senior t Jacksonville, was the second-team All-PFL selection at return specialist in 2011. He led the league's kick returners with a 26.3 yard per return average his 27 attempts. 

The goal of College Football Performance Awards is to provide the most scientifically rigorous conferments in college football. Recipients are selected exclusively based upon objective scientific rankings of the extent to which individual players increase the overall effectiveness of their teams.
