CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Pioneer Football League placekickers Jason Myers, of Marist, and Rainer Duzan, of Morehead State, were named to the College Football Performance Awards' Preseason Watch List, the organization announced Monday.

Duzan was a first-team All-PFL selection last season, the second consecutive year the senior has received the honor. He was the league's third ranked scorer, his 7.7 points per game leading all kickers. Duzan converted a league best 49 PATs for the high-powered Eagles offense and was ranked second among league kickers with 12 field goals made. Notably, he scored 19 points – four field goals and seven PATs – against Kentucky Christian last seaso. Duzan also had a season-best 49-yard field goal conversion against Butler, tying for the PFL's longest kick in 2011.

Myers was an honorable mention All-PFL pick in 2011 after averaging 3.7 points per game as a junior. He converted 23-of-25 PATs and 6-of-7 field goal attempts. Myers also had a 49-yard field goal, tying Duzan for the longest in the PFL last season.

The goal of College Football Performance Awards is to provide the most scientifically rigorous conferments in college football. Recipients are selected exclusively based upon objective scientific rankings of the extent to which individual players increase the overall effectiveness of their teams.
