CINCINNATI - Butler defensive lineman Grant Hunter has signed as an undrafted free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals, the University announced, Tuesday.

Hunter,  who recorded 35.5 sacks during his career at Butler, led the Bulldogs with 15.5 tackles for loss in 2011, including 10 sacks. He was an honorable mention All-PFL selection in 2011 after earning first-team honors in 2008 and second-team recognition in 2009. In addition, Hunter excelled in the classroom and was named to the Academic All-PFL squad three times during his career.

Hunter joins San Diego's Mario Kurn as PFL student-athletes who were signed following the 2012 NFL Draft.
