Butler 56, Morehead State 20
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --  Butler rushed for six touchdowns, Brody Reder scoring three times, to secure a 56-20 PFL victory against Morehead State, Saturday, at Jayne Stadium. After the teams traded touchdowns in the first quarter, Reder dashed into the end zone from 10 yards out to give Butler a 14-7 lead. His three-yard touchdown run later in the first quarter pushed the Bulldogs lead to 21-7.  Bushka pass for a touchdown and ran for another around Reder’s third touchdown as Butler pushed to a 42-7 halftime lead that it would not relinquish. Reeder had just five carries for 29 yards and three touchdowns. Morehead State’s Grady Cramer completed 14-of-24 passes for 142 yards and a first-quarter touchdown.

Marist 37, Presbyterian 7
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Marist’s defense shutout Presbyterian for 57 minutes in a 37-7 PFL victory, Saturday, at Tenney Stadium. Marist scored four rushing touchdowns in the win, Amin Woods scoring twice while Devin Thompson and Glemour Leonard-Osbourne each scoring once. Luke Paladino tacked on three field goals from 36, 48, and 22 yards to cap the Red Foxes’ scoring. Nate Hayden found Jalen Jones on a one-yard touchdown pass with 2:16 left in the game to break up the Marist shutout bid. Woods had nine carries for 31 yards and two scores to pace Marist’s offense. Nate Hayden completed 9-of-16 passes for 97 yards and a touchdown.

St. Thomas 49, San Diego 42
ST. PAUL, Minn. – Cade Sexauer ran for a touchdown and threw another in the fourth quarter, helping St. Thomas edge past San Diego, 49-42, in Saturday PFL action at O’Shaughnessy Stadium. In a back-and-forth game, San Diego tied the score at 35-35 on Re-al Mitchell’s 53-yard run with 5:23 remaining in the third quarter. But St. Thomas scored on its next two drives with Sexauer leading the Tommies on a 11-play, 60-yard scoring push then a four-play, 70-yard scoring drive to take a 49-35 lead. Judd Erickson would get San Diego back within a touchdown with his 17-yard scoring pass to Michael Carner. However, St. Thomas would force a turnover on downs at its own 37-yard line to seal the victory. Sexauer passed for 286 yards and three touchdowns and added a touchdown on 10 carries for 34 yards. Erickson also passed for three touchdowns with 361 passing yards.

Dayton 31, Valparaiso 24
DAYTON, Ohio – Jake Chisholm’s 23-yard touchdown run with 18 seconds remaining lifted Dayton to a 31-24 PFL victory against Valparaiso, Saturday, at Welcome Stadium. Dayton scored the game’s first two touchdowns with Chisholm’s first rushing touchdown and Cole Hildebrand’s 30-yard pick-six. Valparaiso tied the game before the quarter ended with Michael Appel throwing a 67-yard touchdown strike to Solomon Davis and a 12-yard touchdown toss to Braden Contreras. Dayton led 17-14 at the half courtesy Michael Denning’s 27-yard field goal. After the team’s traded touchdowns in the third quarter, Brian Bartholomew’s 35-yard field goal early in the fourth tied the game at 24-24. Dayton saw its next two possessions end with a missed field goal and an interception but the Flyers’ defense held Valparaiso to a five-play and four-play drive after the miscues to maintain the tie game before Chisholm’s winning score. Quarterback Shane Hamm (129 yards) and Chisholm (103 yards) both ran for 100 yards. Appel completed 22-of-29 passes for 323 yards and two touchdowns.

Drake 24, Stetson 17
DELAND, Fla. – Christian Galvan’s three-yard touchdown run with 1:35 left in the game catapulted Drake to a 24-17 PFL victory against Stetson, Saturday, at Spec Martin Stadium. After the teams played to a 10-10 tie at halftime, Drake broke the tie with Dorian Boyland’s one-yard run that was the third quarter’s only score. However, the Bulldogs’ two-point conversion failed and Drake led 16-10 entering the fourth. Stetson responded with a touchdown drive to open the fourth quarter with Brady Meitz finding Michael Conley for a 12-yard touchdown pass and a Cameron Gillis PAT gave Stetson a 17-16 lead. Drake then drove 91 yards in 14 plays, Galvan capping the drive with his touchdown run. Boyland ran for 115 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries to pace Drake. Meitz completed 25-of-40 passes for 251 yards and two touchdowns for Stetson.
