PFL Alumni in the NFL: Week 2

The Pioneer Football League saw six alumni on NFL active rosters to begin the 2022 NFL campaign. Five saw action during the NFL's Week 2 with Ross Dwelley and Eric Saubert each catching touchdown passes. Here is a quick snapshot of their performances.

  • Donald Parham Jr., Tight End, Los Angeles Chargers (Stetson) | Parham did not see action as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.
  • Adam Trautman, Tight End, New Orleans Saints (Dayton) | Trautman saw action on 35 snaps in New Orleans' loss to Tampa Bay.
  • Ross Dwelley, Tight End, San Francisco 49ers (San Diego) | Dwelley was part of a 38-yard touchdown and receovered two fumbles in San Francisco's victory against Seattle.
  • Jamal Agnew, Wide Receiver, Jacksonville Jaguars (San Diego) | Agnew had a two rushes for a yard and two punt returns for seven yards in Jacksonville's shutout victory against Indianapolis.
  • Jason Myers, Kicker, Seattle Seahawks (Marist) | Myers converted a lone PAT in Seattle's loss at San Francisco.
  • Eric Saubert, Tight End, Denver Broncos (Drake) | Saubert caught a 22-yard touchdown pass to give Denver the lead late in a victory against Houston.

The following PFL alumni were listed on an NFL practice squad roster: 

  • Josh Johnson, Quarterback, San Francisco 49ers (San Diego)
  • Michael Bandy, Wide Receiver, L.A. Chargers (San Diego)
  • Michael Niese, Offensive Lineman, Chicago (Dayton)
