PFL Alumni in the NFL: Postseason

The Pioneer Football League saw seven alumni on NFL active rosters as the NFL reached the end of its regular season. Below is a quick snapshot of their performances during the season.

  • Jamal Agnew, Wide Receiver, Jacksonville Jaguars (San Diego) | Agnew set career highs in receptions (24), receiving yards (229), and rushing yards (111), while adding 22 kick returns for 525 yards. He had the NFL's longest kick return in 2021 – a 102-yarder – and was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month in September.
  • Ross Dwelley, Tight End, San Francisco 49ers (San Diego) | Dwelley saw action in all 17 regular-season games and finished with four receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown.
  • Josh Johnson, Quarterback, Baltimore Ravens (San Diego) | Johnson made three appearances for the New York Jets before joining the Baltimore Ravens and starting in Week 16 against Cincinnati for his first start since 2018. He completed 52-of-91 passes for 638 yards and five touchdowns.
  • Jason Myers, Kicker, Seattle Seahawks (Marist) | Myers connected on 17-of-23 field goal attempts, 44-of-47 PATs, and finished with 95 points scored in 2021.
  • Donald Parham Jr., Tight End, Los Angeles Chargers (Stetson) | Parham set career highs in receptions (20) and receiving yards (190) with 13 of his receptions going for a first down during the 2021 regular season.  
  • Eric Saubert, Tight End, Denver Broncos (Drake) | Saubert also set career highs in receptions (8) and receiving yards (47) along with catching his first touchdown as a professional in Week 12 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
  • Adam Trautman, Tight End, New Orleans Saints (Dayton) | Trautman finished the 2021 NFL campaign with career highs in receptions (27), receiving yards (263), and touchdowns (2).

The following PFL alumni remain listed on an NFL roster but did not see action during a 2021 regular-season game:

  • Michael Bandy (San Diego) – Los Angeles Chargers [Practice Squad]
  • Reid Sinnett, Quarterback, Philadelphia Eagles (San Diego).
