San Diego 45, Drake 15
SAN DIEGO, Calif. – San Diego clinched a share of the 2017 Pioneer Football League title – its fourth consecutive year with at least a share of the crown – with a 45-15 victory against Drake, Saturday, at Torero Stadium. San Diego quarterback Anthony Lawrence threw for four touchdowns and 326 yards on 27-of-36 passing. Three of his touchdown throws came in a 24-point burst that broke the game open on either side of the halftime break. Drake quarterback Grant Kraemer threw two touchdowns, accounting for all his team's touchdowns, as part of a 15-for-28, 224-yard outing.

Jacksonville 20, Valparaiso 17
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Running back Irvin Riley ran for two touchdowns, including the eventual game-winner, as Jacksonville held off Valparaiso, 20-17, in Saturday PFL action at D.B. Milne Field. Riley's one-yard run with 41 seconds left in the third quarter gave the Dolphins a 20-14 lead. Valparaiso would cut the lead to three points on Dimitrios Lastona' 20-yard field goal. However, the Crusaders final drive was denied when Trevor Tufano intercepted a pass in the end zone. Riley ran for 90 yards on 14 carries in the win. Valparaiso quarterback Jimmy Seewald completed 21-of-30 passes for 296 yards and a touchdown.

Campbell 42, Davidson 29
DAVIDSON, N.C. – Daniel Smith rank for a school-record 289 yards – the most by any PFL runner since 2014 – to lead Campbell past Davidson, 42-29, in Saturday PFL action at Richardson Stadium. Smith carried the ball 23 times for 289 yards, the most rushing yardage in the league since Dayton's Connor Kascor's 301-yard outing in Week 2 of the 2014 season. Davidson held a 15-7 lead after Trevor Smith's second field goal early in the second quarter. Smith would lead Campbell to consecutive scoring drives and the Camels led 21-15 at halftime and would not look back. Smith finished with 445 yards total offense, adding 156 yards and a touchdown on 7-of-18 passing. Wesley Dugger, Davidson's freshman running back, scored three times as part of his 27-carry, 139-yard outing.
