CHICAGO – San Diego defensive lineman Blake Oliaro and Davidson wide receiver Lanny Funsten were both named to College Sporting News' preseason All-America Squads, Monday.

Oliaro was a first-team selection by College Sporting News and a Preseason All-PFL pick by the leagues coaches and has also been named to the Buck Buchanan Watch List. He returns after being named the PFL's Defensive Player of the Year and earning first-team All-PFL honors last season as a redshirt sophomore. He finished the season ranked fourth among FCS athletes with 1.36 sacks per game (15 sacks in 11 games) and was ranked 10th nationally with 1.77 tackles for loss per game (19.5 total).

Funsten earned third-team honors from College Sporting News after being selected to the Preseason All-PFL team by the league's coaches. He returns after earning first-team All-PFL honors last season. Funsten caught 100 passes for a league-best 1,107 yards and eight touchdowns.
