In his first action since Week 1, Piccirilli threw for four touchdowns in Stetson’s 42-21 PFL victory against Presbyterian, Saturday. He completed 24-of-44 passes for a career-best 334 yards in the outing, with his four touchdown throws, each going to a different receiver. Piccirilli found eight different receivers in the game, including Michael Carley, who had a 103-yard receiving effort on just three receptions. He opened the game with a 71-yard touchdown pass, then helped Stetson build a 28-7 lead with a 22-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter before throwing two touchdowns in the third quarter.

Claypool posted four tackles for loss and two sacks as Drake posted its first shutout since 2011 in a 24-0 PFL victory at Valparaiso, Saturday. He finished the game with six tackles (four solo) and was credited with three quarterback hurries to disrupt the Valparaiso passing game. Claypool bookended his day with the two sacks – the first helping to force a missed field goal in the first quarter and the second on Valparaiso’s final drive of the game. Drake held Valparaiso to 216 offensive yards, including 44 rushing yards.

Yusef Leak, St. Thomas (So., CB, Orlando, Florida)
Leak returned a blocked punt 66 yards for a touchdown as St. Thomas secured the PFL championship with a 27-13 victory at Butler, Saturday. After Kam In blocked a potential 49-yard field goal, Leak picked up the loose ball and ran it 66 yards for St. Thomas’ second touchdown of the day and a 14-0 lead. Leak also had a hand in the Tommies defense, recording three tackles and an interception. The pick came in the third quarter after St. Thomas extended its lead to 17-0.

Tyreece White, Davidson (Jr., DL, Newport News, Virginia)
White blocked a potential go-ahead 40-yard field goal to help Davidson secure the PFL automatic bid with a 24-23 victory against Dayton, Saturday. With Dayton seeking to take the lead after a missed Davidson field goal on the previous drive, White blocked a 40-yard attempt with 5:03 remaining in the game to deny Dayton’s final excursion into Davidson territory.
