Morehead State 27, Marist 24
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Morehead State is off to its first 4-0 PFL start since 2002 thanks to Mark Pappas' touchdown throw to Matt Guilfoil with 62 seconds remaining for a 27-24 victory at Marist, Saturday. In a game marked by six lead changes, Marist took a 24-20 lead with 4:41 remaining when Mekhai Johnson's one-yard touchdown run capped an 8-play, 75-yard drive. Morehead State responded with a 12-play, 76-yard drive over the next 3:32, capped by Pappas' throw. Marist could not move the ball on its final possession, turning the ball over on downs without gaining a first down and Morehead State kneeled out for the win. Pappas completed 32-of-52 passes for 396 yards and three touchdowns. Austin Day led Marist with 202 yards passing and 54 yards rushing.

Davidson 49, Butler 35
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Davidson used 21 points in both the third and fourth quarters to build a 28-point lead and held on for a 49-35 PFL victory at Butler, Saturday. The Wildcats ran for five touchdowns and 363 yards, Aris Hilliard rushing for 105 yards and two touchdowns on four carries. Hillard's 15-yard run with 10:51 remaining in the third quarter gave Davidson a 35-21 lead. Louis Colosimo extended the lead with a 57-yard touchdown strike to Bradyn Oakley four minutes later, providing an advantage Davidson would not relinquish. Bret Bushka led Butler with a 21-for-32 passing, 166-yard outing that included a pair of touchdown throws.

Valparaiso 45, Dayton 28
VALPARAISO, Ind. – Valparaiso scored 17 unanswered points in the third quarter to defeat Dayton, 45-28, for its first victory in the series since 2017. Dayton built a 20-14 halftime advantage courtesy its own 17-0 burst in the second quarter as Jake Chisholm caught a touchdown and ran for another in the quarter. Valparaiso responded in kind in the third quarter, getting a rushing touchdown from Robert Washington and a touchdown reception by Charlie Maxwell to take a 31-20 lead. After the teams traded touchdowns to start the fourth quarter, Jamauri Jackson sealed the victory with his 37-yard interception return for a touchdown with six minutes remaining. Washington ran for three touchdowns as part of his 20-carry, 91-yard outing. Dayton quarterback Jack Cook completed 16-of-36 passes for 247 yards and a touchdown but threw two interceptions.

San Diego 69, Presbyterian 28
CLINTON, S.C. – San Diego scored the game's first 23 points and broke the game open with a 27-point third quarter to post a 69-28 victory at Presbyterian, Saturday. The Toreros ran for 240 yards and six touchdowns with five different runners finding the end zone. In addition, quarterback Mason Randall threw for three touchdowns, ran for another and passed for a pair of two-point conversions as part of a 24-for-29, 242-yard outing. Presbyterian quarterback Ren Hefley threw for 390 yards and four touchdowns as part of a 31-for-43 passing efort.
