DAVIDSON 27, GEORGETOWN 20
DAVIDSON, N.C. – After seeing its 20-point halftime lead erased in the third quarter, Davidson got a game-winning two-yard touchdown run from William Wicks to defeat Georgetown, 27-20, Saturday at Richardson Stadium. The Wildcats scored the game's first 20 points as quarterback Tyler Phelps led his team to scoring drives of 87, 91 and 99 yards with running backs Wesley Dugger and James Story capping the drives with short touchdown bursts. However, Georgetown battled back in the second half with 20 straight points, scoring twice after a pair of Davidson fumbles provided short fields to work with. The score stayed tied until late into the fourth quarter when Davidson drove 80 yards and Wicks scored on a second opportunity at 3rd and Goal. Davidson rushed for 355 yards and four touchdowns.

NORTH DAKOTA 47, DRAKE 7
GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Ian Corwin found Devin Cates for a 10-yard touchdown strike late in the third quarter but Drake was downed by North Dakota, 47-7, Saturday at the Alerus Center. Corwin led the 8-play, 65-yard drive which accounted for the bulk of Drake's 129 offensive yards on the day. North Dakota led 12-0 at the half but scored 21 points in the third quarter to build a 33-0 lead before the Drake touchdown. Drake running back Drew Lauer ran for 73 yards on 21 carries and finished with 142 all-purpose yards.

NORTH DAKOTA STATE 47, BUTLER 10
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. –  Butler Dan DelGrosso returned a fumble for a touchdown but it was North Dakota State's Trey Lance that stole the show as the Bison downed the Bulldogs, 57-10, Saturday, in front of 34,544 at Target Field. Lance threw for 185 yards and four touchdowns while running for 116 yards and two more scores in the victory. Butler's offense was held to 198 yards and a Drew Bevelhimer 29-yard field goal on the opening drive of the second half. Following the ensuing kickoff, DelGrosso returned a fumble recovery four yards for Butler's lone touchdown.

CAL POLY 52, SAN DIEGO 35
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – After trading touchowns in the first quarter, Cal Poly ran off 38 consecutive points  then held off a San Diego fourth-quarter rally to down the visiting Toreros, 52-35, Saturday at Spanos Stadium. Cal Poly and San Diego each scored twice in the first quarter, playing to a 14-14 stalemate. The Mustangs broke the game open with 24 points in the second quarter and the first 14 points of the second half. But San Diego quarterback Reid Sinnett would lead three touchdown drives to finish the scoring. Sinnett passed for 411 yards and four touchdowns, finding Michael Bandy 10 times for 133  yards and two touchdowns.
