    PFL Recap: Dec. 1

    On the regular season's final day, San Diego defeated Marist to claim a share of the 2012 PFL title. It is the Toreros fifth title all-time and second consecutive crown. San Diego shares the 2012 title with Butler and Drake, creating the second three-way tie for the title in league history.

    PFL Recap: Nov. 17

    Drake claimed a share of its second straight PFL title with a 32-29 victory at Jacksonville, Saturday. In addition, San Diego remained in the hunt for a share of the title with its 17-10 victory at Davidson. Morehead State and Marist ended their 2012 campaigns with victories.

    Drake remained in the hunt for a share of the PFL title with a 45-20 victory against Butler, Saturday. San Diego also kept pace in the title race with a victory against Morehead State to wrap up its home slate.

    Butler needed a touchdown with two seconds remaining to finish Week 10 action as the PFL's lone unbeaten team, clinching a share of the PFL title in the process. Drake fell from the ranks of the unbeaten with a loss at Dayton. Valparaiso picked up its season's first victory with a road win while Morehead State won its second straight contest.

    PFL Recap: Oct. 27

    San Diego quarterback Mason Mills set a PFL record with 511 passing yards in a 41-9 victory against Dayton, Saturday. Butler moved to 6-0 in PFL play with a 31-20 victory at Davidson as Trae Heeter ran for 231 yards on 27 carries, including two touchdowns. Marist, Morehead State and San Diego also posted PFL wins, Saturday.

    PFL Recap: Oct. 20

    Only two teams remain unbeaten in PFL play after Week 8 action. Drake needed overtime to defeat Marist and Butler needed a late fourth-quarter touchdown to overcome Morehead State. San Diego ended Jacksonville's unbeaten PFL run for the second consecutive year. Dayton posted a shutout to move above .500 in the conference race while Davidson picked up its season's first victory.

    PFL Recap: Oct. 13

    Butler, Drake and Jacksonville each won on the road to remain tied atop the PFL standings with 4-0 marks. In other action Dayton and San Diego both posted home victories.

    Drake was the lone home team to post a win in Week 6 and remained tied atop the league standings with Jacksonville and Butler which both won road contests. Dayton also picked up a win on the road.

    PFL Recap: Sept. 29

    Jacksonville, Butler and Drake each got to 2-0 in PFL play with Week 5 victories. The Dolphins won their FCS-best 16th consecutive home game at D.B. Milne Field thanks to a 99-yard kickoff return. Butler won at the Butler Bowl thanks to Trae Heeter's 159-yard rushing performance. Drake picked up a win at Campbell to keep pace.

    Jacksonville was the only road team to win on the opening weekend of PFL play while Butler, Drake, Marist and San Diego each opened the league slate with home wins.

    PFL Recap: Sept. 15

    Dayton and Jacksonville both opened their home schedules with wins, but the rest of the PFL suffered disappointment in Week 3. Dayton's win against Robert Morris was its 400th consecutive game with a score, extending its own NCAA record. Jacksonville extended the FCS' longest home winning streak to 15 games with its win against Webber International.

    Jacksonville won on the road at Charleston Southern while Butler, Campbell and San Diego each won at home during Week 2 action across the PFL. Elsewhere, Drake and Morehead State both fell one score shy of knocking off nationally-ranked opponents as the league went 4-6 during the week.

    PFL Recap: August 30

    Morehead State posted a shutout in its season opener for the second consecutive season to open the 2012 season on a winning note. Drake also picked up a home victory to run its win streak to five games. Meanwhile, Campbell fell in its first-ever home night game, Valparaiso saw a win slip through its fingers in the closing moment and Butler saw a potential game-tying drive halted by the final whistle in opening night action across the Pioneer Football League.
