    Washington scored three touchdowns – two rushing and one receiving – to help Valparaiso claim the Hoosier Helmet with a 28-25 victory against Butler, Saturday. He finished the game with 26 carries for 120 yards – his second 100-yard rushing performance this season. Washington’s three touchdowns comprised all of Valparaiso’s 21-point run to turn a 17-7 deficit into a 28-17 lead with 6:05 remaining.

    Reese’s interception set up San Diego for a crucial touchdown just before the halftime break in a 24-21 victory at Presbyterian, Saturday. Reese’s pick and four-yard return set up San Diego at the Presbyterian 30-yard line with 25 seconds left and a 10-7 lead. A quick three-play, 30-yard drive provided a touchdown for a 17-7 halftime lead. Reese also had three tackles (two solo), a half sack and a hurry in the contest.

    Turner’s interception and return helped set up a game-securing touchdown in the fourth quarter of Valparaiso’s 24-21 victory against Butler, Saturday. His interception and 12-yard return put Valparaiso on the Butler one-yard line with a 21-17 lead and 6:05 remaining in the game. On the next play, Washington gained the yard on the ground for his third touchdown of the game, extending the lead. Turner also had five tackles (three solo) and a break up.

    Bonoffski connected on a 32-yard field goal with two seconds remaining to help Davidson escape with a 24-21 victory against Morehead State, Saturday. It was his only field goal attempt of the day and he converted all three extra-point attempts to provide five points to the winning cause.
