OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Anthony Olivencia, Marist
Senior (RS) | Wide Receiver Miami, Florida
Olivencia caught two touchdown passes, including a 75-yarder that proved to be the game-winner in Marist’s 26-23 PFL-opening victory against Stetson, Saturday. Those two touchdown passes were half of his four receptions which amassed 150 receiving yards on the day. Earlier in the contest, Olivencia connected with starting quarterback Austin Day for a 45-yard touchdown that gave Marist a 19-10 lead. In the fourth quarter his 75-yard touchdown connection with backup Luke Strnad was the game’s final score. Olivencia’s other two receptions weren’t for naught, both converting third down opportunities.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kyle Fleitman, Marist
Sophomore (RS) | Safety Islip Terrace, New York
Fleitman led Marist with 10 tackles, a fumble forced and three pass breakups in the Red Foxes’ 26-23 PFL-opening win against Stetson, Saturday. His had two key moments in the fourth quarter Stetson’s next-to-last drive when he had a pass break up and a tackle for loss within a five-play span to help stall the drive and force a turnover on downs. Earlier in the game, he broke up a pass on 2nd-and-8 to help stall another drive that resulted in a missed field goal, keeping Marist ahead 19-17.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Sam Webster, Dayton
Freshman | Kicker Richfield, Ohio
Webster’s first field goal attempt as a Flyer went for 53 yards and he contributed 10 points in Dayton’s 34-31 victory against Robert Morris, Saturday. His 53-yard boot midway through the second quarter was the third longest in Dayton history and the longest by a freshman. Webster tacked on a 23-yard field goal just before halftime that gave Dayton a 20-17 halftime lead. He also converted all four of his PATs and sent all three of his kickoffs for touchbacks in the win.
