    Turner Jr. was responsible for three touchdowns, including the game-winner with five seconds left as Jacksonville downed Butler, 48-44, in Saturday PFL action. The league’s top runner, he had 25 carries for 194 yards on the day. In the second quarter, Turner Jr. ran for a 58-yard touchdown and passed for a 57-yard touchdown, the throw his only completion on the day (two attempts). After Butler took a 44-41 lead with 3:22 left, he spearheaded an 11-play, 73-yard drive that saw him post seven carries for 37 yards, including a three-yard touchdown run with five seconds left.

    Friedel had a busy day while leading a San Diego defensive unit that did not allow an offensive touchdown in a 27-10 PFL win at Drake, Saturday. Friedel led the Toreros with eight tackles (five solo), three tackles for loss, two sacks, forced a fumble and had a pass breakup. His first action of the game was a forced fumble on a tackle for loss that set up San Diego inside the Drake 10-yard line and resulted in the game’s second touchdown. Friedel’s 1.5 of his sacks came on the same Drake drive in the third quarter, resulting in 12 lost yards and forcing a three-and-out.

    Gasc averaged 44.3 yards on seven punts, helping Stetson to a 48-24 PFL victory against Morehead State, Saturday. The 44.3 yards per punt was Gasc’s best punting average of the season thanks to a pair of 50-yard punts. His season-best 56-yard punt pinned Morehead State inside its own five-yard line in the third quarter. Gasc finished the day with five of his seven punts going for 40-plus yards, two punts downed inside the 20-yard line and Stetson netted 41.1 yards per punt as the Eagles only attempted one punt return on the day.
