    Westcott scored five touchdowns, including the game winner, as Stetson outlasted Davidson, 56-53, in Saturday PFL action. He set Hatters records for rushing yards (213) and touchdowns on just 17 carries. Westcott also became the first PFL athlete since 2013 to score five touchdowns in a game. After posting just three carries for 29 yards in the first quarter, he broke through with two touchdowns in both the second and third quarters. Westcott then dashed into the end zone from two yards out with 1:57 left in the game to score the game-winning touchdown. He was one of two FCS running backs with five touchdowns Saturday, joining Central Connecticut State’s Aaron Dawson.

    Lynch capped his busy day with a game-securing 38-yard interception return for a touchdown in Drake’s 42-25 PFL win at Valparaiso, Saturday. He led Drake’s PFL-leading defensive unit with a career-best nine tackles, including six solo stops. Lynch did the bulk of his work in the second half, recording seven tackles before ending the day’s scoring with a 38-yard interception return for a touchdown.

    Armstead returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown to start the third quarter in San Diego’s 59-35 PFL victory against Jacksonville, Saturday. He amassed 167 yards on two kickoff returns, posting a 67-yard return on the final kickoff of the first half to set up San Diego for a quick-strike touchdown. Armstead then opened the second half with his 100-yard dash, helping the Toreros extend their lead to three touchdowns. He is the seventh FCS player to return a kickoff 100 yards for a score this season. Armstead finished the day with 217 all-purpose yards, adding 43 receiving yards, including a 16-yard touchdown reception, and seven rushing yards to his total.
