    Yinger scored three touchdowns as Dayton opened PFL play with a 42-21 come-from-behind win against Davidson, Saturday. He was held to three carries for seven yards in the first half but broke out in decisive third quarter. Yinger scored the touchdown on each of Dayton’s first two drives in the third, amassing 12 carries for 69 yards, as Dayton surged into the lead. He then added a 29-yard touchdown reception on his final play of the game midway through the fourth quarter. Yinger finished the day with 124 all-purpose yards – 80 rushing (17 carries) and 44 receiving (2 receptions).

    Gantt’s day was highlighted by an interception to set up a Stetson field goal in a 19-14 PFL victory against Marist, Saturday. He also had four tackles (three solo), including two tackles for loss (both sacks). Gantt’s interception, with a 27-yard return, was his first official stat of the day and came late in the second quarter. He opened the third quarter with a sack on 3rd-and-8 to force a punt on Marist’s first drive. Gantt then helped secure Stetson’s game-winning score with a sack to force 3rd-and-18 then a pass breakup to end the ensuing Marist drive.

    Smith placed all three of his punts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line in Dayton’s 42-21 PFL victory against Davidson, Saturday. His three punts came from the Davidson 40, then the Dayton 32- and 37-yard lines and all three ended up unreturned from inside the Davidson 20-yard line. Smith averaged 42.0 yards on those three punts, including a 51-yard boot. He also handled kickoff duties with his seven kickoffs averaging 47.1 yards and netting 37.6 yards with one touchback.
