    Sophomore | Running Back | Jacksonville, Florida
    Bryant ran for a career-high 168 yards to lead Jacksonville past San Diego, 35-18, in the PFL opener, Saturday. He had 28 carries in the contest, averaged 6.0 yards per carry. Bryant had two touchdown carries, both in the second quarter. His first, a five-yard dash, gave Jacksonville a 14-0 lead and his second, a four-yard burst, staked the Dolphins to a 21-10 lead they would not relinquish.

    DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
    Jordan Dewhirst, Jacksonville

    Senior (RS) | Linebacker | Fort White, Florida
    Dewhirst recorded six tackles in Jacksonville’s 35-18 PFL victory against San Diego, Saturday. In addition, he had a tackle for loss, interception and a fumble forced in the contest. With Jacksonville’s opening drive stalled out, Dewhirst forced a fumble on a punt to extend the drive which resulted in a touchdown. His interception came on San Diego’s final drive of the first half and after Jacksonville extended its lead to 21-10.

    SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

    Senior | Punt Returner | Walden, New York
    Adler’s first punt return of 2014 provided Marist’s only points in a 27-7 loss to Georgetown, Saturday. Adler, who also plays free safety for the Red Foxes, fielded a punt at his own nine-yard line and returned in 91 yards for a touchdown. It is the longest punt return in the FCS this season through three weeks. Defensively, he recorded seven tackles (two solo) and interception and two pass breakups.
