His interception in the second quarter stopped a Morehead State scoring drive at the Campbell 16-yard line and kept the Camels within a point, 14-13, at halftime. Lyon’s returned his second interception 45 yards for a touchdown for Campbell’s final score, cementing the victory. He also had nine tackles (seven solo) and was the team’s second-leading tackler.
