Drake defensive lineman Dain Taylor was a second-team selection to the Consensus Draft Services (CDS) seventh annual Football Championship Subdisivion (FCS) preseason All-America Team. He was one of eight PFL athletes named to the CDS' three-team listing.
Defending PFL co-champion Butler had three players named to the organization's honorable mention list, including senior offensive lineman Mike Staniewicz, junior defensive lineman Grant Hunter and senior wide receiver Zach Watkins.
