Butler and Dayton tied at 7-1… Butler won regular-season meeting against Dayton, 31-28… Butler earns Gridiron Classic bid.

If Drake def. Butler AND Dayton def. Marist…
Drake and Dayton tied at 7-1… Dayton won regular-season meeting against Drake, 23-6… Dayton earns Gridiron Classic bid

If Marist def. Dayton… Winner of Drake-Butler contest earns Gridiron Classic bid.
