DAYTON, Ohio – Dayton senior quarterback Steve Valentino's Hail Mary pass fell one yard short and Butler escaped with a 31-28 PFL victory, Saturday, at Welcome Stadium. Butler sophomore quarterback Andrew Huck ran for three touchdowns and threw for two more in the victory, finishing with 200 total yards – completing 12-of-29 passes for 146 yards and carrying the ball 12 times for 54 yards. Valentino completed 29-of-44 passes for 413 yards and two touchdowns then added 12 carries for 48 yards and another touchdown. Butler remains one of thre unbeaten FCS teams after 10 weeks and stays atop the PFL's standings with a 6-0 conference mark. Dayton falls to second place in the PFL with a 5-1 record but still remains in the race for the regular-season title.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville sophomore quarterback Josh McGregor threw three touchdown passes in a 49-20 PFL victory, Saturday, at D.B. Milne Field. McGregor completed 16-of-24 passes for 305 yards as the Dolphins rolled up 581 offensive yards. Valparaiso quarterback Nate Goergen completed 21-of-35 passes for a career-high 261 yards and two touchdowns, accounting for most of the Crusaders' 323 offensive yards.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Freshman kicker Jason Myers' career-long 37-yard field goal with one second remaining pushed Marist to a 23-21 non-conference victory against Georgetown, Saturday, at Tenney Stadium. It was the Red Foxes fifth-straight victory, the longest win streak in program history. Senior wideout James LaMacchia caught seven passes for 105 yards, but sophomore running back Ryan Dinnebeil did the heavy lifting, rushing for three touchdowns.

DES MOINES, Iowa – Drake piled up 422 offensive yards en route to a 49-6 PFL victory against Campbell, Saturday, at Drake Stadium. Freshman running back Trey Morse ran for a career-high 100 yards on 13 carries, including a 34-yard touchdown run. Seven different Bulldogs players recorded touchdowns in the victory. Campbell posted 202 offensive yards, the lone score coming on junior quarterback Daniel Polk's six-yard touchdown pass to junior wideout Mike Stryffeler. Drake remains unbeaten in PFL play and faces second-place Dayton in Week 11.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Junior quarterback Michael Blanchard ran for 102 yards and passed for another 78 yards and a touchdown as Davidson downed San Diego, 34-27, in PFL action, Saturday at Torero Stadium. Davidson's defense cashed in on a pair of turnovers – sophomore defensive back Peter Kidwell returning an interception 30 yards for the game's first touchdown and senior offensive lineman Joe Table landing on a fumble in the end zone for the Wildcats' final touchdown – to help secure the victory. Senior running back JT Rogan paced the Toreros with a pair of touchdowns, the last coming with four minutes remaining, but San Diego could not complete the comeback effort.
