INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Sophomore quarterback Andrew Huck engineered a 11-play, 98-yard fourth-quarter drive and capped it with a one-yard touchdown dive to lead Butler past Davidson, 14-7, in PFL action, Saturday, at the Butler Bowl. Huck completed 3-of-5 passes for 42 yards and added three carries for 28 yards, including the game-winning touchdown with 4:08 remaining. He finished the game completing 14-of-26 passes for 136 yards but also carried the ball 17 times for 81 yards and a touchdown. Davidson Kenny Mantuo carried the ball 19 times for 147 yards and scored the Wildcats game-tying touchdown in the third quarter.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Marist recorded its first shutout in four seasons with a 24-0 PFL victory against Valpariaso, Saturday, at Tenney Stadium. Marist's defense held Valparaiso to 153 yards of offense and intercepted three passes – including two by sophomore cornerback Jaquan Bryant. Meanwhile, senior running back O'Neill Anderson led the offense with 15 carries for 101 yards and a touchdown. Valparaiso's defense kept the game close for a quarter and a half, including an interception by junior JaVon Welch, but could not keep Marist off the scoreboard.

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell overcame an early deficit to record its first PFL victory with a 31-22 victory against Morehead State, Saturday, at Barker-Lane Stadium. The Camels trailed 14-3 after the first quarter but scored 22 consecutive points to take a 25-14 lead which they would hold on to. Campbell amassed 374 yards of offense and recorded just two offensive touchdowns as Adam Willets hit three field-goals and the defense recorded a safety and returned an interception for a touchdown. Morehead State amassed 405 offensive yards as freshman quarterback Zach Lewis completed 28-of-43 passes for 296 yards and two touchdowns.

DAYTON, Ohio – Dayton overcame a halftime deficit to remain unbeaten in PFL play with a 21-14 victory against San Diego, Saturday, at Welcome Stadium. The Toreros led 14-7 at halftime courtesy a pair of touchdown passes from freshman quarterback Bo Stompro, who was making his first collegiate start. However, senior quarterback Steve Valentino rushed for a pair of touchdowns in the second half and led Dayton to its seventh consecutive victory. Valentino completed 13-of-33 passes for 185 yards and a touchdown but ran 17 times for 107 yards and two touchdowns. San Diego senior running back JT Rogan carried the ball 27 times for 130 yards but did not score.

DES MOINES, Iowa – Drake also needed a second-half comeback in a 45-38 PFL victory against Jacksonville, Saturday, at Drake Stadium, to remain unbeaten in conference action. Redshirt freshman quarterback Peter Badovinac came off the bench and engineered a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns in the come-from-behind effort – he is expected to have shoulder surgery following the season. Jacksonville led 38-32 following Donovan Curry's 42-yard field goal with 14:55 remaining. Badovinac led drives of seven plays, 60 yards and five plays, 26 yards, each for touchdowns. Drake finished with 353 offensive yards with fifth-year senior wideout Spencer Cady leading the effort with seven receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown. Jacksonville ran more plays (76) and finished with more yards (371), including junior running back Rudell Small's 19-carry, 100-yard performance.
