DAVIDSON, N.C. – Drake trailed at halftime but got two big third-quarter touchdown plays to post a 21-16 victory at Davidson, Saturday, in PFL action at Richardson Stadium. Senior running back Steve Platek scored his second touchdown of the day on a 63-yard run to give Drake a 14-10 lead. Three minutes later junior defensive back Michael Lahart returned a blocked field goal 58 yards for the eventual game-winning touchdown. Davidson got within one possession on Michael Blanchard's five-yard run in the fourth quarter, but the resulting two-point conversion failed and could not get out from under the shadow of their own goalposts in their final possesion.

MOREHEAD, Ky. – Marist rallied from a 14-0 halftime deficit against Morehead State with 24 unanswered points in a 24-10 PFL victory, saturday, at Jayne Stadium. Marist won its third straight PFL outing with consecutive scoring drives in the fourth quarter. The first, and game-winning score, was capped by O'Neil Anderson's six-yard run.  Senior quarterback Chris Debowski capped the quarter's second scoring drive with a six-yard pass to junior running back Greg Whipple. Morehead State scored first on senior running back Jerrod Pendleton's two-yard run and jumped ahead 14-0 after junior quarterback Evan Sawyer found freshman wide receiver Jaison Yoshimura in the end zone. Eagles' head coach Matt Ballard coached the game in bare feet in support of Samaritan's Feet. His efforts resulted in 600 pairs ($3,000) of shoes being donated.

Butler def. Campbell, 23-16 | Butler Recap | Campbell Recap
BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Unbeaten Butler jumped out to a 20-0 lead and then held on for a 23-16 victory against Campbell, Saturday, if PFL action at Barker-Lane Stadium. Sophomore quarterback Andrew Huck completed 22-of-30 passes for 214 yards and two touchdowns and tacked on another 56 rushing yards. Campbell scored on its first second half possession but then settled for three field goals by sophomore kicker Adam Willets the rest of the way and could not catch the Bulldogs. With the win, Butler improves to 7-0 overall for the first time since 1983.

Dayton def. Valparaiso, 38-7 | Dayton Recap | Valparaiso Recap
VALPARAISO, Ind. – Senior quarterback Steve Valentino rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns to lead Dayton in a 38-7 PFL victory against Valparaiso, Saturday, at Brown Field. The Flyers rushed for 271 yards as a team and rolled up 476 yards total offense. Valparaiso was held to 60 yards – a 28-yard touchdown pass to fifth-year wide receiver Nicholas Henton from junior quarterback Nate Goergen the Crusaders only score.

Jacksonville def. San Diego, 34-16 | Jacksonville Recap | San Diego Recap
SAN DIEGO, Calf. – Junior running back Rudell Small rushed for 151 yards and sophomore wide receiver Josh Philpart caught a pair of touchdown passes as Jacksonville downed San Diego, 34-16, in PFL action, Saturday, at Torero Stadium. The Dolphins scored the games first 13 points only to watch the Toreros close to withing three, 13-10. However, sophomore quarterback Josh McGregor threw a 32-yard touchdown strike to junior wide out Tommy Rodgers to give Jacksonville a 20-10 lead it would not relinquish. The Dolphins finished with 402 offensive yards, including Small's third 100-yard performance in the last four games. San Diego amassed 309 offensive yards with sophomore quarter back Sam Scudellari completing 8-of-22 passes for 162 yards and a touchdown.
