DAYTON, Ohio – Dayton's defense forced four turnovers in a 17-0 victory against Davidson, Saturday, in PFL action at Welcome Stadium. Senior quarterback Steve Valentino led Dayton with 222 yards of total offense and scored both touchdowns, the first on a 29-yard pass to senior wideout Justin Watkins and the second on a one-yard run. Davidson junior quarterback Michael Blanchard rolled up 141 yards of total offense.

Butler def. Valparaiso, 23-14 | Butler Recap | Valparaiso Recap
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Valparaiso led 14-3 in the third quarter but could not hold on as Butler scored 20 consecutive points to pull off a 23-14 victory, Saturday, in PFL action at the Butler Bowl. The Bulldogs entered the contest with the PFL's No. 1 ranked passing offense, but handed the ball to its ground attack which rolled up 247 yards and all three touchdowns. Junior running back Scott Gray carried the ball 22 times for 99 yards and a touchdown. Sophomore running back Ryan Hitchcock added eight carries for 53 yards and two touchdowns. Valparaiso scored its first touchdown courtesy junior defensive back Eli Crawford's 60-yard interception return in the third quarter.

Jacksonville def. Morehead State, 39-0 | Jacksonville Recap | Morehead State Recap
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville scored 21 first-quarter points en route to a 39-0 victory against Morehead State, Saturday, in PFL action at D.B. Milne Field. Jacksonville sophomore quarterback Josh McGregor completed 13-of-24 passes for 294 yards and four touchdowns. The Dolphins offense finished with 393 yards of total offense while the JU defense held Morehead State to just 140 yards offensively. 

Drake def. San Diego, 21-14 | Drake Recap | San Diego Recap
SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Drake sophomore quarterback Mike Piatkowski found senior running back Stephen Platek with 4:23 remaining to lead Drake past San Diego, 21-14, in PFL action, Saturday, at Torero Stadium. The 20-yard touchdown strike capped a three-play, 53-yard drive that consumed just 58 seconds. Platek finished with two touchdowns on the night, earlier running from one-yard out to tie the game, 7-7, in the first quarter. San Diego freshman wideout Kyle Warren caught a pair of touchdown passes from sophomore Sam Scudellari, who completed 26-of-41 passes for 317 yards.

Old Dominion def. Campbell, 28-17 | Campbell Recap
NORFOLK, Va. – Campbell went into the second half with a lead against Old Dominion, but ultimately fell, 28-17, Saturday, in non-conference action at S.B. Ballard Stadium. The Camels held a 10-7 lead at halftime after Adam Willets booted a 36-yard field goal in the second quarter. Junior quarterback Daniel Polk completed 16-of-23 passes for 185 yards, but did not throw a touchdown. Instead he and sophomore running back Rashaun Brown carried home touchdowns.
