Dayton def. Central State, 31-12
DAYTON, Ohio – Dayton opened the Rich Chamberlin era with a 31-12 victory against Central State, Sunday afternoon, at Welcome Stadium. Senior Scott Vossler was named the Dayton Classic Most Valuable Player after seven tackles, including three sacks, and a fumble recovery for a touchdown. The Flyer defense limited the host Marauders to 14 yards rushing and only 195 yards total offense on the day.
