JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Wesley Dugger ran for five touchdowns, all at or inside the five-yard line, as Davidson downed Jacksonville, 49-19, in Saturday PFL play at D.B. Milne Field. Dugger scored the game's first three touchdowns as Davidson built a 21-3 lead at halftime. He then scored to strat both the third and fourth quarters as the Wildcats lead expanded to 35-13. Jacksonville was able to narrow the deficit in the third quarter thanks to 10 consecutive points – a Calvin Turner to Ish Cortes passing score and a Zachary Benwick 40-yard field goal – but the Dugger fourth-quarter opening score halted the Dolphins' momentum. Dugger finished with 193 yards on 22 carries, leading a Davidson run attack that amassed 521 yards on 73 carries by 12 runners. Jacksonville finished with 224 offensive yards, Turner Jr. finishing with 143 passing yards on 9-of-15 passing.

Butler rumbled back thanks to Nick Orlando's touchdown carries in both the third and fourth quarters, narrowing the deficit to four points before Pappas' win-securing passing touchdown. Pappas finished with 300 yards on 21-of-29 passing to lead Morehead State's 393-yard day. Orlando ran for three scores, ending the day with 38 yards on 11 carries.
