POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Jonah Hodges ran for a pair of touchdowns to help San Diego take control of the PFL regular-season race with a 27-3 victory against Marist, Saturday, at Tenney Stadium.

Quarterback Anthony Lawrence gave San Diego the early lead with his first-quarter touchdown toss to Ross Dwelley. Kicker Patrick Murray extended the Toreros lead to 13-0 with second-quarter field goals from 43 and 26 yards before Marist kicker Mike Maccarone responded with a 27-yard field goal just before the first half ended.

After a quiet third quarter, Hodges put the finishing touches on the victory with his two fourth-quarter touchdown runs. It capped a 33-carry, 175-yard performance for the Toreros running back.

Marist quarterback Mike White completed 12-of-34 passes for 175 yards but Marist was out-gained 423-201 by San Diego.

Dayton 21, Stetson 10
DAYTON, Ohio – Quarterback Alex Jeske had a hand in all three Dayton touchdowns in a 21-10 PFL victory against Stetson, Saturday, at Welcome Stadium.

Stetson got on the scoreboard first when kicker Grant Amick hit a 22-yard field goal midway through the first quarter. The Hatters lead would not last the quarter as Jeske capped a short scoring drive with a four-yard run for a 7-3 lead.

Jeske would add to the lead in the second quarter when he found Ryan Skibinski for a 28-yard touchdown catch-and-carry. He would add the game's third touchdown with his legs, capping another scoring drive with an eight-yard run. Stetson would added a late touchdown from Darian Wright, but could not get any closer.

Jeske completed 9-of-13 passes for 82 yards and a touchdown but added another 81 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries.

Stetson quarterback Cole Martin completed 11-of-26 passes for 141 yards to pace the Hatters offense.

Jacksonville 35, Davidson 17
DAVIDSON, N.C. – Quarterback Rylan Wells amassed 321 offensive yards and accounted for three touchdowns and led Jacksonville to a 35-17 PFL victory against Davidson, Saturday, at Richardson Stadium.

Jacksonville led 14-10 at halftime before Wells struck early in the second half with a two-yard touchdown burst to extend the lead to 21-10. Later he led the Dolphins to a eight-play, 85-yard drive that ended with Irvin Riley's four-yard touchdown run.

Davidson struck quickly on the ensuing drive as quarterback Stockton McGuire found Jaris Scott for a 73-yard touchdown pass. But Wells ended any plans for a comeback with a 38-yard touchdown pass as the final gun sounded.

Wells completed 13-of-19 passes for 211 yards and a touchdown and tacked on another 110 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

McGuire paced Davidson with a 13-of-29 passing effort for 225 yards and a touchdown while also running for 48 yards to finish with 273 offensive yards.

Butler 23, Valparaiso 12
VALPARAISO, Indiana – Duvante Lane supplied a late insurance touchdown and kicker Drew Bevelhimer hit three field goals as Butler held off Valparaiso for a 23-12 PFL victory, Saturday, at Brown Field.

Valparaiso closed to within a point when quarterback Jimmy Seewald hit Mason Sutter for a nine-yard touchdown pass late in the second quarter. But the Crusaders game-tying PAT was blocked, allowing Butler to maintain a 13-12 lead at halftime.

After a quiet third quarter, Lane supplied an insurance score with his three-yard run to cap a nine-play, 79-yard drive. Bevelhimer later added his third field goal – a 27-yard boot to set the final score.

Lane finished the day with 156 rushing yards and a touchdown on 29 carries while Receiver Pace Temple caught five passes for 125 yards to pace the Butler offense.

Seewald completed 16-of-29 passes for 162 yards, connecting with receiver Frank Catrine six times for 100 yards.

Drake 33, Campbell 21
DES MOINES, Iowa – Quarterback Grant Kraemer threw two touchdown and running back Conley Wilkins rushed for two more as Drake held on for a 33-21 PFL victory against Campbell, Saturday, at Drake Stadium.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a 17-0 lead in the first quarter, taking advantage of a pair of Campbell turnovers. After a Campbell fumble on the game's first punt, Kraemer needed just two plays to score a touchdown when he completed a six-yard pass to Andrew Yarwood.

On the ensuing Campbell drive, Terry Wallen intercepted a pass and returned it 58 yards to set Drake up at the Campbell 17-yard line. two plays later Kraemer found Zach Zlabis for a 12-yard touchdown pass and a 14-0 lead. Drake's next possess ended with Josh Lee's 29-yard field goal and Drake was out to a 17-0 lead.

Campbell would score midway through the second quarter when Anthony Robbins connected with Austin Fleming for a five-yard touchdown pass. However, the Camels would only trade scoring drives the rest of the way.

Kraemer completed 19-of-28 passes for 304 yards and two touchdowns. He connected with tight end Eric Saubert five times for 105 yards while Wilkins amassed 29 carries for 82 yards and two scores.

Robbins completed 26-of-43 passes for 298 yards and two touchdowns to pace the Camels, who lost despite out-gaining Drake by a 433-420 margin.
