Monday, November 2, 2015 AHEAD IN WEEK 10Saturday, Nov. 7 Davidson at Jacksonville, 1 p.m. Dayton at Morehead State, 1 p.m. Stetson at Marist, 1 p.m. Valparaiso at Butler, 1 p.m. Campbell at San Diego, 3 p.m. Off Week: Drake LEAGUE NOTESDayton enters Week 10 with an opportunity to take control of its own destiny in the 2015 PFL Championship race… The Flyers travel to Morehead State where a Dayton win would leave just one one-loss team in the league – a San Diego side it defeated earlier this season – with two PFL weekends remaining… Dayton has won the last six meetings against Morehead State, but the Eagles are unbeaten at Jayne Stadium this season (3-0) after a triple overtime victory in Week 9… San Diego returns home and will look to keep the pressure on the Flyers when it hosts a Campbell squad that has won its last two road contests… If Morehead State and San Diego each win it would create a three-way tie for the title that may not be resolved until the regular-season’s final weekend…A surging Marist squad has won its last three PFL outings and stays home to host Stetson… The Hoosier Helmet will be on the table when Valparaiso travels down Interstate 65 to face in-state foe Butler… Jacksonville returns home after dropping both ends of its back-to-back road trip to host Davidson… Dayton enters Week 10 as one of only two FCS teams with a double-digit win streak, its 10-game win streak trailing only Harvard’s 22-game win streak… In Week 9, the PFL saw two more rushers join the 200-yard club – Drake’s Conley Wilkins (205 yds) and Campbell De’Shawn Jones (201 yds)… San Diego quarterback Anthony Lawrence’s 453-yard performance was the best in the PFL this season… In addition, San Diego Brian Riley (177 yds) and Marist’s Juston Christian (171 yds) set the league’s top two receiving yardage marks during the Halloween weekend. |
