On the regular season's final day, San Diego defeated Marist to claim a share of the 2012 PFL title. It is the Toreros fifth title all-time and second consecutive crown. San Diego shares the 2012 title with Butler and Drake, creating the second three-way tie for the title in league history.

SAN DIEGO def. MARIST, 34-10
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – San Diego scored the game's first 13 points and held on for a 34-10 PFL victory against Marist, Saturday, at Tenney Stadium. With the win, San Diego earns a share of the 2012 PFL title for the second consecutive season. Kicker Ernie Collins opened the game with field goals from 20 and 24 yards to give San Diego an early 6-0 lead. Two minutes after the second field goal, quarterback Mason Mills found wideout Reggie Bell for a 38-yard touchdown to put the Toreros up 13-0 early in the second quarter. Marist would score 10 points in that second quarter but trailed 20-10 at halftime. After a scoreless third frame, San Diego scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. Mills completed 23-of-34 passes for 422 yards and two touchdowns, finding Bell seven times for 143 yards and both scores. Marist wide receiver Michael Rios caught 10 passes for 205 yards and a touchdown.
